This is a one day workshop, run by Olivia Lester a highly experienced Birth Educator, which looks at the birthing process and ways in which a birthing partner can offer support.



Topics covered include:-

* Physiology of labour & birth

* Positions for 1st stage of labour

* Breathing in labour

* Massage

* Positions for 2nd stage

* Comfort measures

* 3rd stage (the placenta)

Suitable to attend in the last 6-8 weeks before your baby is due

Workshops will be held on the following Saturdays during 2010:

Sat 22nd May
Sat 10th July
Sat 11th September
Sat 6th Nov

Time: 10am - 4pm (please arrive early to ensure a prompt start)

Cost £90 per pregnant woman & birth partner.

Please note that we are unable to provide a refund if you cannot take up your place, unless your baby is born early or you are admitted to hospital.
